Episode 20 :: Strong Female Artists; Flipping the Script on Gender Norms; Urination NationAs you probably know if you listen to this show regularly, we like to mix high and low-brow topics, and this episode is no different. Today, we explore powerful contemporary works by female artists. Then we talk about a few different experiments that explore role reversals of men and women. Finally–although this is a show called “Girls Poop Rainbows”–we explore some hilarious stories about (and tools for) urination…including Clorox’s next big marketing campaign idea (courtesy of GPR).

New Episode Forthcoming! In the Meantime. . .

redhorseWe’ve been all over the U.S. these last couple of weeks with Michelle road-tripping up and down the Eastern Seaboard while I’ve been flying around the country with stops in from Indiana to Florida. That means we haven’t had as much time to work on new content for GPR, but don’t worry, there’s another episode forthcoming, just as soon as I have two consecutive seconds to sit down and edit it!

In the meantime, if you missed it, be sure to check out our recent interview on Red Horse Radio, the fun podcast by Jon Towers, during which we talk about the merits of the new Thor being a woman, sexism in comics, and hidden racist undertones.

I know it sounds heavy, but actually, we had a blast!

Episode 19 :: More Dating Foibles; We <3 Comics; Must-See Kids Movies

Online-DatingIf you enjoyed our last humorous look at Zontee’s dating life, you’re in luck! We share more of the strange experiences that might be had during online dating (and share some really important tips on making that experience more pleasant!). Then, we explore the world of comics and graphic novels to share some of our favorites from over the years.* Finally, we take a look at Entertainment Weekly’s list of 55 essential kids’ movies, and we do what we do best: pick it apart.
